| RouteOneT is a messaging gateway that help operator to effectively distribute the SMS traffic across the core network, making the effective use of the existing infrastructure. RouteOneT is designed to integrate into the SS7 signalling network and make intelligent routing decisions concerning SMS traffic on a per message basis. The premium services such as mobile-to-mobile messaging can be sent directly to the SMSC, whereas mobile-to-WLL and ESME traffic can be routed directly to an application server rather than using up bandwidth on the SMSC and in the SS7 signalling network. |

| How does it work? |
| SMS traffic is sent directly to the RouteOneT by the SS7 network, it then analyzes the messages and makes a forward routing decision based on originating or destination number (or combination of both). RouteOneT can route the SMS over TCP/IP to a SMSC or directly to a fixed application using SMPP, this enables high volume ESME traffic to be diverted away from the SMSC and sent directly to the fixed application hosting the ESME service. In this way the Message Router is capable of throttle the SMS traffic delivered to any particular SMSC such that it remains inside the constraints of the capacity of that device. RouteOneT also enables traffic distribution to multiple SMSCs, in which the RouteOneT can load-share SMS across a number of SMSCs. |
